Who We Are

Abreej Solar Energy, a wholly owned UAE company, was established in 2009. It is specialized in solar energy field in terms of innovation, manufacturing, completion and promotion of products related to solar energy applications. The company started its activity in midsummer 2010 by introducing to UAE market “Abreej solar operated heat exchanger”. This heat exchanger is invented because it is greatly needed to ventilate and reduce the temperature of stored water in tanks in summer season when the temperature of water continues to rise along with the high rise of ambient temperature and the direct effect of sunrays on the temperature of stored water in tanks.

“Abreej solar powered heat exchanger” is invented and manufactured in U.A.E. and patented by Invention Patents registration bureau, Geneva, Switzerland, and is also registered in GCC countries in the name of the Emirati inventor Eng./ Khalil Ebrahim Abdulla Al Hammadi, who has experience of more than 38 years 25 years of which in solar energy. In summer 2010 “Abreej heat exchanger” was in high demand, and our sales figure was about 225 units although we started late in the second half of the summer season. However, by the early summer 2011 our sales figure rose to 499 units because the product acquired technical reputation in local Market for its high efficiency. For theses reason, we had good support from Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, and some government agencies like Takaful Fund / Ministry of Interior entered into contract with us to install the system above the water tanks at officer’s accommodation/ behind Police College. “Abreej Heat Exchanger” uses solar energy to cool water in summer.

The Abreej Solar-Powered Heat Exchanger, invented in the UAE by Eng. Khalil Ebrahim Abdulla Al Hammadi, is patented in Switzerland and registered in GCC countries. Launched in 2010, its high efficiency boosted sales from 225 to 499 units by 2011. Supported by the Khalifa Fund and government agencies, it was installed at officer accommodations near the Police College. The system cools water using solar energy.
